Vitamins for Skin and Hair Care! Part 3.

Vitamin H (biotin). Dermatitis, hyperpigmentation and skin overdrying begin with its deficiency. Also the growth of nails breaks down. Vitamin H has a positive effect for seborrhea, wrinkles, flabby and oily skin, acne, head baldness. Biotin can be found in onions, carrots, cucumbers, lettuce, tomatoes, red and black currants, yeast, wheat flour, peas.

Vitamin K (fillohinon) increases the strength of the capillaries, helps to stop bleeding and various haemorrhages in the skin, hastens the healing of wounds and ulcers. Fillohinon is contained in the green parts of plants - nettles, plantain, wormwood, yarrow, rose hips, grape, cranberry, plum, tea, potato, carrot tops, and cereal plants.

Vitamin PP (nicotinic acid) is used in seborrhea, pink and vulgar acne, dryness and inflammation of the skin, hair loss, dermatosis. Nicotinic acid enhances the nutrition of skin cells and hair roots, accelerates the healing of wounds and ulcers. Nicotinic acid is contained in wheat bran, watermelon, zucchini, cabbage, potatoes, onions, carrots, cucumber, parsley, lettuce, beet, tomato, pumpkin, horseradish, garlic, apricots, oranges, bananas, grapes, raspberries, oak, rose, tea , rhubarb, sage.

Vitamin U is useful for seborrhea. This vitamin is contained in the juice of fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as cereals and vegetable fats.

Remember! Heat treatment almost completely destroys vitamin C, by one half destroys vitamin E and group B vitamins. Keeping on the light is detrimental for vitamin E and A (they are oxidized). The contact with oxygen is not acceptable for vitamin B6.
